This class will focus on key factors of behavioral expression; individual development, temperament, and environment. These factors shape how children process and react to the experiences they have in the world. We will explore the importance of child observation in understanding behavior and effective techniques for helping children.

Training Objectives:

•Participants will recall the connection between the various areas of the brain and how these connections are expressed through behavior.

•Participants will summarize the key factors that influence behavior.

•Participants will identify the root cause of challenging behavior and effective strategies for helping children with these difficulties.
