CKA: Positive Interactions & Guidance

Learners will be exposed to the key points involved in teaching young children social and emotional skills. Learners will have hands on time with tools that teach young children social and emotional skills. Learners will create an action plan to put their learning into practice in their classroom.

Training Objectives:

1 . Learners will implement new strategies to increase nurturing and responsive relationships and high-quality supportive environments.

2 . Learners will implement strategies in their classroom to teach young children friendships skills.

3 . Learners will implement strategies in their classroom to teach young children problem solving..

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
