Hearing more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in our schools these days? Learning which STEM Abilities 21st century youth (ages 6-16) need for success and how your afterschool can support the development of these skills in fun and interactive ways.

Training Objectives:

1 . Participants will learn the importance of good observation skills and how to foster these to youth.

2 . Participants will be introduced and explore STEM Abilities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

3 . Participants will learn how to identify ways to incorporate appropriate teaching and opportunities in afterschool settings that develop STEM abilities.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
